Bombagarh is a brand of UPLIFE, a proprietorship registered in West Bengal, India. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

- Name, email address, phone number and delivery address — when you place an order
- Your email address — if you subscribe to our newsletter
- Payment information — entered directly with our payment gateway. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Basic analytics about how the website is used — including which pages and products you view, and whether you complete a purchase

Why we collect it

To process and deliver your order, to contact you about it, to handle returns, to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations under Indian law, to understand how our website and our advertising perform, and — only if you have opted in — to send occasional emails about new designs.

Who we share it with

Those who need it to get your order to you:

- Shopify, which runs our store
- Razorpay, which processes payments
- Our manufacturing and fulfilment partner, which prints and dispatches your order
- Courier partners, for delivery

And to measure and advertise our own work:

- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which measures how our website and our advertising perform

We use Meta's tools to understand how this website is used and to show our designs to people who have already visited it. You can control personalised advertising in your Facebook and Instagram settings, and disconnect this data from your account under Off-Facebook Activity.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for other companies' advertising.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 8 years, as required for GST and income tax purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Write to support@bombagarh.com and we will respond within 7 days.

Cookies

Our store uses cookies to keep your cart working, to understand how the site is used, and to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. You can block them in your browser, though the cart may stop working if you do.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top.
